Meet the Team: Don Carter, Project Manager
With over three decades of experience in the construction industry, Don brings extensive experience across aviation, hospitality, high-end retail, restaurants, federal projects, and capital improvements to the E2 team. His career includes managing multimillion-dollar ground-up commercial projects, federal embassy security upgrades, and projects for major corporations and academic institutions.
Don’s ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, and maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and local authorities allows him to effectively guide projects from design through completion. His depth of experience and commitment to safety, compliance, and quality help keep projects moving forward and teams aligned.

Built for What’s Next.
After months of hard work, the HGTC Automotive Technology Facility is ready for its next chapter.
E2 Development completed four new automotive bays along with renovations to the existing facility, including a new entryway, interior build-out, roofing, and HVAC, electrical, and plumbing upgrades, along with improvements to the surrounding site.
But this project is about more than expanding a building. The additional space will allow HGTC to welcome more students each semester, expand its Automotive Technology program, and provide more opportunities for hands-on training in the skilled trades.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing this vision to life and supporting the next generation of tradespeople.
Another project is complete. Another investment in the future. 🛠️🎓
🚨 The wait is over. We’ve officially reached a major E2 milestone!
E2 Development is officially licensed as a General Contractor in Georgia! 🍑
With Georgia now added to our list, we’ve achieved our goal of becoming fully licensed across the Southeast. From South Carolina to North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and Georgia, E2 is now positioned to take on opportunities and build relationships throughout the region.
This is more than another license. It represents how far E2 has come and the opportunities ahead as we continue to grow beyond our home market. We’re incredibly excited for this next chapter and for the new clients, partners, projects, and connections that come with it.

Today started like any other 25 years ago, but our world changed forever by the end of it. E2 Development pauses to remember where we were, the lives that we lost, the families forever changed, and the courage shown on 9/11. We honor the heroes who stepped forward and the communities that came together in the face of tragedy. We will never forget.

As part of Charleston County School District’s Peninsula Promise Project, E2 Development helped give Julian Mitchell Math & Science a fresh start for the new school year.
From bathroom and classroom renovations to fresh paint, new flooring, and various MEP upgrades, we tackled a range of improvements throughout the school over the summer months—all with the goal of creating brighter, more functional spaces for students and staff.

As students and staff head back for the 2026–2027 school year, R.B. Stall is welcoming them with a fresh new look! ✨ Phase 1 of this two-phase project is officially complete, bringing brighter spaces, updated signage, and a whole new feel throughout the school.
